Security Deposits

  Refundable Security deposit:  Range between €1000-€2500 depending on the size of the yacht. This deposit is returned to you upon completion of your charter, less the cost of any losses or damages.

  Non Refundable Premium:  Set at €250 for yachts up to 39 ft and €350 for larger vessels. This payment relieves you of any responsibility for loss or damages during your charter.

Which ever Security Deposit type you choose for your charter, it needs to be paid by either a Bank cheque issued at Kavas Yachting Ltd or Cash at the time of embarkation. We do not accept Credit Cards or personal cheques for security deposits.

Cancellation
In the event that you should have to cancel your trip , the following terms apply as per the Kavas Yacht Charter Agreement.

  90+ days prior to embarkation: An administrative fee of €150
  30+  days prior to embarkation: 25% of the total charter fee
  30-  days prior to embarkation: 35% of the total charter fee

For your own interest, you are strongly advised to take an appropriate holiday insurance which will cover your losses in an undesired cancellation case.

Charter Schedule
All charters begin at 17:00 on the day of departure (normally Saturdays) and typically end at 09:00 on the day of arrival (normally Saturdays).  We require this time between charters to do the necessary cleaning/maintenance/service on the vessels.

Insurance
All our yachts are fully insured for third party personal injury and damages to other yachts.  Yet, for your personal safety -which is not covered from the above insurance- you are strongly advised to take an appropriate holiday insurance.

Kavas Yachting can not/will not be held liable for any injury to any person, nor to the loss or damage of any personal property of the charterer or other persons onboard.
